DSD238 Has Very high ADT

Hello!

One of the DSD238 (15bar max ) compressor is frequently shutting down due to high ADT temperature. And we have replaced the oil ( Sigma S-460) , the oil filter, air cleaner , Oil separator cartridge all original from manfacturer. Moreover, the oil cooler is cleaned, the cooling fun checked and it is working properly, the ambient condition is good ( it is maximum 27 Degree celcius where the problem is common ) , checked the PT100 sensor and even replaced it with a sensor from a properly working compressor of similar model, but the problem is there. The compressor room is well ventilated that cooling air is abundant and cannot be the reason.
So, would like to have your contribution in solving this problem and would be waiting your suggestions.

Regards,
Mark

Thermo valve?
by: Carl

Hi, sounds like you have checked most of the possibilities, could you check the cooler, see if it is hot to the touch. You may find that the thermo valve isn't opening fully, replace it anyway and see how that goes. You'll find the thermo valve on top of or next to the oil filter, it has 2 or 3 10mm nuts holding the cover on (be careful of hot oil though).
Hope that helps

Carl
