drying the air for a plasma cutter

Hi, I have a small compressor (5-6 cfm at 90psi) that I use with a small plasma cutter. I'm going through tips (consumables) quickly and am told I need to dry the air. What is the best way for me to do this (and cheapest)?

Howdy Brian. Yup, all air compressors generate water, and depending on the season, the relative humidity of the intake air, and the compressor heat as it runs, there could be a lot of compressor generated water in the tank, and in the air lines to your app.
I have written about this in detail. Click the link "Compressor Water" from the navigation bar and read those pages. After which, if you still have questions, please add a comment here so I can follow our chat.
Cheers,
