Do you need filters on compressed pipework if you are using it as a food process

Currently have a filter on the inlet & outlet, but do i need to filter the pipework legs if i am using as part of the process to blow seasoning on food.

It seems to me, that if debris, compressor oil, perhaps pipe scale, and certainly contaminated water, all of which can blow out of any compressed air line, were blowing onto my food, I'd want to make sure that I treated it.
I don't know your process, nor do I know if you have inspectors visiting your plant.
My suggestion is, if you want to play square, ask the inspector.
Or, make sure you have a general purpose filter, upstream from a coalescent filter, on any outlet that blows onto food.
I'd be happier knowing you were doing this! :-)
Cheers,
