DIY high psi Air Compressor

I would like to build a high PSI Air Compressor for filling water/air rockets (2liter bottles 350 PSI)

I would prefer prefer it to be 12 volt for portability.

Could I get the psi I'm looking for by plugging a high output tire compressor such as the www.harborfreight.com/12-volt-150-psi-high-volume-air-compressor-66399.html from harbor freight tools.to the low side of a refrigerator compressor.

Or maybe a motor driven automotive A/C compressor.Any ideas would be helpful T/Y Ken

Ken, there are many ways to boost air pressure, including, but not limited to, air intensifier cylinders.

If the compressor has the power source it needs, and is built to compress at higher pressures, it will work.

I can't hypothesize about your ideas, as I have no idea about the mechanical capabilities of the compressors you refer to.

So, it's open to suggestions from more knowledgeable folks out there in compressor land. Any ideas about pressure intensification for Ken?

Cheers,

Bill
