Pressure is built up to correct level, but air will not come through hose, when connected to quick coupling.

I have DeWalt model D55146 air compressor. Machine builds up pressure to correct level, shuts off, but when hose is connected to quick coupling, no air is released for tool.

That typically suggests a mis-match between the connector on the hose and the discharge coupler.

That's been written about extensively on the troubleshooting page "no air out of hose". Have a read of that, and if when testing as described, you still have questions, add a comment here.

Or, it could also be a symptom of a shut off or failed air regulator. Ensure that the one on your DeWalt 55146 compressor is working.
