DeWalt 55146 air compressor

DeWalt 55146 air compressor

Fires right up and runs to regulated pressure.

As soon as I shoot air gun 3-4 times it is out of air in line.

If I give it a minute it will finally get up to pressure in line again.

Jason, from what you have written, I think your regulator is either turned way down low, or not working properly.

Try adjusting the air pressure shown on the regulator gauge up as high as it will go (typically, that will be tank pressure), back right down to zero PSI, and then back up to the pressure you want for your nail gun.

If that does not make any change, then I suspect you will be looking for a new regulator.

Or, if this is a new symptom, if you recently changed air lines, maybe you are using a mis-matched connector - coupler combo.
