Any value for a DeVilbiss portable air compressor type NCB 501-6

Any value for a DeVilbiss portable air compressor type NCB 501-6

I have an old DeVilbiss portable air compressor. Type NCB 501-6.

It's a 1/4 HP unit weighing probably about 40 lbs. Model # 5KH45AB1669A.

Works great but I don't want to take it with me when I move. Can't find information on line. No idea of value - antique maybe? Any help? Thanks.

NCB 501-9

I have a Ncb 5019 that looks a lot like yours; powered by a 1\4 HP GE continuous duty motor. Weighs every bit of 40 lbs.

I just found it in a dumpster at the local landfill literally an hour ago. No hose or gauge, power switch and cord are both roached, and it looks more like the neighborhood lawnmower - caked with grimey oil.

I cannot believe anyone would get rid of one simply because of not wanting to take it when moving. I'm sure there's a valid reason, but then, also cannot believe someone would just throw one in a landfill dumpster either.

by: frank

No value as an antique but it is a close cousin to the NCD501 that i have...i am trying to locate parts for mine and is difficult. Would you consider selling it to me cheap if pay the shipping?
Thank you,
Frank
