We facing DC link charge fault for Compair L120SR....any idea to troubleshoot this issue...any guideline troubleshoot manual book for this type fault...

I have manuals for this.

its probably blown either a IGBT insulated gate Bipolar transistor or the gate drive board
its not likely to be the motor but the bearings do go on these from time to time.

you need to check the connections on the drive plate. the earlier machines had copper bars linking the caps and igbt's, the later have a insulated copper sheet ( sometime the screws come loose and it burns out).

there are some diode packs that feed onto the DC bus you can test these DO NOT press the Charge contactor in !

the charge is done with a small contactor first with some resistors on the VDR board. check this is working then when the voltage reaches a set limit the gate drive board switches on the DC link contactor.

I can email you the service manual ( I have asked Brandon to send it to me so I can upload here for all to download as required - Bill)

Remember this is DC voltage very High
