Curtis E57 compressor relief valve pops

the pressure relief vavle on the head of my curtis e57 compressor pops off when full pressure is reached. it will continue for a short time, the factory tells me that the relief is set at 70 lbs. it has not been tampered with. the valve springs were replaced at an authorized dealer the gave me no answer to the problem.

Henry, the PRV lets go because it is experiencing pressure in excess of it's set point, or it is failing. I can think of no other reason.

I ask the many knowledgeable readers of this site for what conditions on your air compressor could cause this to happen.

I resolve the rv poping problem. The o ring on the second unloader valve was bad. Henry
