Cummings 1.5hp air compressor stopped working

I was using it one day and then it wouldn't start the next. Doesn't seem to be getting any power at all. Plugged in, checked all the connections. All is good. It's almost as if a breaker has been tripped w/in in the unit itself. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

You plug it in, flip or push the start button, and nothing?

Is the air pressure in the tank higher than the cut in pressure of your compressor? Bleed all the air out of the tank and see what happens.

With the compressor plugged in and with the tank empty, if there is a toggle handle on your pressure switch, flip it the other way and see if something happens.

If there is a motor reset button, give that a push.

If the tank is empty and none of the above work, and you have power in the plug into which the compressor is plugged, then look to your pressure switch.
