Craftsman air compressor allows seconds of tool use after tank is filled.

I have a craftsman 6 horsepower, 33 gallon air compressor. The tank holds air great with no other problems.

I noticed that when I use my air impact gun to break loose lug nuts the air gun would be good for about 5 seconds then I have to wait for 20 seconds before I could use it again.

The tank would still be full but no power to the air tools.

I purchased a new piston kit and replaced the piston thinking this would help the matter but it didn't.

I did noticed that the air line would fill up with air but when the air tool is used the air in the line is gone out then I have to wait again.

No air out of hose

Eric, see the troubleshooting page about no air out of hose for some things to check.

It wouldn't surprise me to learn that your air regulator is pooched.
