Convert VT627000AJ from 220 to 110 volt?

Can I convert my 6.5 hp VT627000AJ compressor from 220 to 110 volt?

I just acquired this compressor and didn't think to see if it was 110 or 220. My garage is only wired for 110. Could it be converted to 110 plug?

220 to 110 volt?

My brain had not registered this is a 6.5 HP motor. So you'd need a 40A circuit anyway at 110. So you need to run a 30A 230V circuit anyway.

Convert MC019700IP motor to 110?

If that's the motor on it, then sorry, no can do.

If it's another brand of motor look at the plate on it. If it's convertible, it will say so, and how to do it.

If your power panel is located in or near your garage, running 240 for it shouldn't be hard or cost a whole lot, and you can probably do it yourself with some help from the local big-box store.
