Connecting air pump to air tank.

Is there an adapter to connect my air compressor to an air tank with a car tire valve connector? I have a tire filling connector but I have to continuously push on it while the tank fills.

mike, you can do it, but you need to re-plumb the air hog to take the additional fittings.

What you want is an air line coming out of the tank with your tire valve.

You also want to have a connector on the other end of the tee into which you can plug your air line from the compressor.

Between the connector and the line into the tank, you will need to add a manual valve so that you can shut of the air blowing from the filled tank after you have filled it up and pulled off the connector.
