CONNECT 2 COMPRESSORS TO ALTERNATE

How do you hook up 2 air compressors to the same output pipe and have them alternate between usage using a standard alternating motor switch. Czn we use a pressure switch connected to the combined tank pipe to turn which ever compressor is running off? The switch we have is an ABB type ARP638. Web site is www.ssac.com
The guy who originally instaled the switch is not around to ask how to hook it up to a replacement compressor and the guy who installed the replacement is lost.

Thanks

Hi Dennis...

On the Add A Compressor page linked from the site map, I talk about how to add another compressor to the same air line.

If you need to have electrical advice on using a switch, I enlist the aid of electricians out there in compressed air land to offer advice for you.

It is that, or getting a local electrician to do it for you.

Cheers,

Bill
