Compressor wo'nt shut off

Replaced the shut off switch and the compressor still won't shut off?

Okay, what switch did you replace, exactly? Was it just the on/off switch, or was it the switch that's often part of the pressure switch?

Is the air tank on your compressor empty?

Do you have a good power supply? No fuse or breaker popped?

If you have power and the tank is empty, and it was just the on/off switch that you replace, then I suspect that you're pressure switch has failed.

It senses when the pressure in your tank has dropped to cut in pressure level and it's the thing that turns the compressor motor on.
