Where is the compressor pressure switch?
by: Bill

It would be a whole lot easier to answer your question Bob, if you told us what make and model of compressor you have.

I can tell you that often small-horsepower air compressors have what I call a mini-switch that is inserted into the tank to read the tank pressure.

With the compressor unplugged, remove the cover - if yours has one - and follow the lines from the power cord. One of those lines typically is connected to the pressure switch, often after it has been connected to any ON/OFF compressor switch.

It were mine I wouldn't use it again until I checked out, and replaced if necessary, the compressor pressure switch.
