Compressor won't build up as it should
by Willie

My compressor has 150 psi capacity, it shuts off at 75 psi then I have to turn off the power for a few minutes and then back on it will build up to 90 psi. I can do this several times and get it up to 150 psi. It will then bleed off. This compressor has never bled off before I can't hear any air leaking.

Bill says...When the pressure gets to 150 PSI, it bleeds off. Do you mean that it unloads? See unloader valve from the valves page for more details.
From what you've written, I surmise that your problem is that the high pressure cut out part of your pressure switch is failing.
Cheers,
Bill
