Compressor will not stop running

The compressor will build pressure to 150psi, and will continue running. It won't get pass 150psi.

I do hear air escaping when i turn it off. The pressure will stay at 130ish psi. ( the prv doesn't engage)

Compressor won't stop

Well Robert, I could perhaps be a bit more specific if I knew the make and model of your air compressor.

What is the normal cut out pressure setting?

Where is the air leak coming from?

With this "The pressure will stay at 130ish psi" are you saying that if you pull the plug the pressure drops from the 150 psi to 130 psi?

Bill
