Compressor will not stop running or build up pressure

I have a 1 1/2 year old Husky 26gal. model #H1826F.

The motor/pump went out,it would not get above 18psi.

I put a new one on.

Now it will get to 100psi,but will not cut off.The cut-off is 155psi.There are no leaks.I use this compressor everyday, and really need some kind of ideal of where to look next.

Hey Charles. Compressors that won't build pressure are fairly common after they've been used a bit, but yours if a bit uncommon as, with the replacement of the motor and the pump, you should have solved the problem.

Here are the reasons why compressor won't build pressure.

Good luck.
