once warm my compressor flicks out the reset button on the motor once i press it back in it runs for a while then trips out the button again. any ideas...the compressor by the was is a nutool or sip 150 ltr tank 3hp motor around 15c.f.m .

I suspect that the reset button is tripping out because the motor is overheating. By running it continuously when it is hot, you are doing more damage.
Make sure the power to the compressor is clean, no extension cord, and if that doesn't make a change, you probably need to look to your run capacitor or the motor itself, providing there are no obvious mechanical issues with the compressor.
