compressor kicks reset

I bought a 2hp 4 gal twin air compressor from harbor freight about a year or two ago now it pumps about 40 pounds and kicks reset. Is the reset bad? if so where do I get one. I have not used this compressor very much.

The reset you refer to is quite likely the thermal overload, and if it is kicking off then your motor is overheating.

Dan, there are lots of reasons why this might be happeing to your Central Pneumatic air compressor, and most of them are referred to in the troubleshooting section. Access it from the navigation bar, and read the pages about why this happens. There are some checks there for you too.

Post a comment here if you check everything noted on those pages and still have a problem.

Cheers,

Bill
