General Electrical Equipment Co air compressor

General Electrical Equipment Co air compressor

Hi Bill,

I've had this old compressor for 30 years and got it used from my brother. The name plate says General Electrical Equipment Co, Newark NJ and has a number stamped on the crank case (2MD-01-8). It is starting to blow a little oil when it hits high pressure and the relief valve pops. I want to try to repair or if I can. It also has a sight glass, but the oil filler hole is really high and I don't know how to maintain the oil
