Hello Bill

I have a pretty common question its about the pilot unloader valve.

I have an I.R. T-30 with a Kohler 10=14 Hp engine and a 30 gal tank.

When I picked up the compressor it was in pretty good shape.

The Pilot Unloader was a bit oxidized, so I I took it apart and cleaned it up and put it it back together.

When I first fired it up it ran well and the pressure would increase and rock back and forth from about 50-70 lbs. and float around 50 lbs.

Now after cleaning the Pilot unloader I ran the compressor and the pressure built really well and increased to about 140 PSI.

So I shut it down not really knowing what the perimeters should be.

This is a beast of compressor compared to my other 20 Gal Speedaires and Sears type of compressors I've owned in the past.

If you could lead me to safe water I would feel a lot better to run the beast! Thanks Bill hope to hear from you soon! Also a Bill!

I'm not an expert but this looks a lot like mine which is a two stage pump and normal pressure 175 cut out & 145 cut in .

The part you disassembled is adjustable by 30 or so lbs. Hope this helps
