compressor does not keep pressure at a set rate. Say it is set to cycle when tank reaches 50 lbs. It does not. Press drops below 50 lbs an instead of comp comming on tho keep the press.at 50lbs,it just drops below 50 and does not cycle to maintain the set rate.

Hello Mark.
Pull the plug, drain the tank to no pressure, close the tank drain, and plug back in.
Does your air compressor start?
If not, does anything happen at all?
You don't identify your air compressor or its size, so I don't have these details, yet it is common for DIY type air compressors to cut in around 70 PSI or so, and cut out at over 100 PSI.
If it does start, what pressure does it run up to before it cuts out?
