compressor dont work ...

hi ,

I have air compressor and when i plug it to the electiric source I hear a click then the motor try to start but it cant and stop working then i hear the same click and the motor cant work ...??

what is the problem ..?

The click you are hearing is probably the pressure switch tripping due to low pressure. It's sending power to the motor starter and motor to try and get the compressor running, so that air pressure can build in the tank, and reach the pressure switch cut out level.

Try this. Unplug the compressor. Open the drain and bleed off the air to zero PSI in the tank. Close the drain and plug in the compressor again.

Does it start now?

If it does, then you have, perhaps, and unloader valve issue. If it still doesn't, then I suspect that your capacitor or motor is at fault. This requires you to take the motor (probably the whole compressor too if it's easier) to an electric motor rebuild shop to test the motor and capacitor.
