Compressor does not off when switched off.

Compressor keeps running when switched off. I think its an electrical faulth but does not know exactly what.

Hello Nnamdi. When you shut your compressor off, where are you doing so?

If it's a lever on the pressure switch, then your pressure switch needs to be replaced.

If it's an external switch that supplied power to your pressure switch, then it's that external switch that has failed.

Just wondering, when your compressor tank pressure gets up to the cut our pressure level, does your compressor turn off then?
