compressor does not cut out on set point

Hello Jacob.

How come you are trying to adjust the cut in and/or cut out pressure setting on your air compressor?

If the pressure switch that came with it is factory, then it's set properly for your air compressor.

If you are trying to boost the cut out (high pressure) setting to get more air out of it, I think you will have a problem with that.

If it just that the compressor keeps running past the high pressure cut out point, and runs until the PRV lets go, then, my friend, you need a new pressure switch.
