Compressor builds up pressure to 70 psig ...

Compressor will not build up pressure beyond 70 psi. Then it stop sucking. It won't build up any higher. Don't know what's the problem?

Howdy. You are on the troubleshooting page for air compressors that won't build pressure. Did you have a chance to do any of the checks referred to on these pages?

When you say "the air compressor stops sucking" by that do you mean that the air intake port no longer pulls air in? How are you checking this, please?

Let me know of the things you have checked, and then we'll see if we can help you figure out your air compressor problem. Post responses here as a comment, please.
