Hmmmm, not exactly brimming with info, here.

The door to your compressor control panel has, I guess, a safety interlock. This is tied into the electrical system of your compressor, so that the opening of the door will cut the power, and presumably, stop any items inside that can mangle an operator's hand or arm.

You have an electrical problem, obviously. If, when you close the door, the compressor is trying to start and cannot, and it blows a 30 amp fuse, then you may have a ground fault, your motor starter may be failing, your motor itself may be failing, you may have a non-functioning unloader... it could be many things.

There isn't enough info in your question to even try to guess.

Cheers,

Bill
