compressor blows breaker when it starts after it is pumped up

I have a speedaire double pumper mod 5Z639A
it comes on at start builds pressure then the next time it calls for the pump to come back on it blows breaker

It started to blow saftyvalve that is in the line that goes from piston to piston so we replaced the check valve and the safty valve it still dose the same thing

it will restart when comp is under 100# persure
it holds 175# of air

and we replaced head gasket and gasket from the cylinder to valve plate

Have a look at the page linked from the Valve page... the Unloader Valve.

If your compressor doesn't unload properly when it reaches cut out pressure, then the additional load created by the air compressed over the piston when the compressor stops, can create just this sort of scenario.

Drain the tank, fire up the compressor, and listen for it to unload when it reaches cut out pressure.
