COMPRESOR UNIT NOT WORKING/IT JUST SHUT-OFF

Inside braker tripped. I change inside breaker because
it would not reset. After reseting new braker I when
to turn A/C unit on/ Main breaker blew.

I left a/c breaker off and turn the main breaker on
with no problem.

I will be getting an A/C person to check the complete
unit.

Please, What are the above causes of the problem.
ps. no loose cables or burn on either the inside or
outside unit.

Hi Frank. This is a website about using compressed air for DIY and in plant use.

I'm not an air conditioner person. From the sounds of your comment though, I'd guess that you've got a start capacitor problem.

Your AC person should be able to diagnose this pretty quickly, I would think.
