Compair L120SR showing "start inhibited"

L120SR is showing fault shutdown and will not reset just shows message "start inhibited" but cannot clear or reset this

Pete, that's a control override problem, and not something that I can even try to diagnose from afar.

I'll post this in the hope a Compair person reads it and offers a suggestion, but I think you either have to get Compair help or a local service company that fixes them.

This fault has 2 possible causes.

1 - Initial power up with incoming phases transposed.

2 - *Excessive starting of the machine with SR motor overcurrent fault

* - This fault requires a code, which I can't find right now, to reset the fault.

L120SR is fitted with a Phase Monitor. This will prevent the compressor from starting if the rotation is incorrect. Switch any two leads at the disconnect or at main contactor to reverse direction.

If still not working call Compair for assistance.
