Can you galvanise only internal surfaces of a pipe

Is there a process and which company does it?

Hi Peter. Not quite sure what this question has to do with a compressed air website? :-)

I do know that you do not want to use galvanized pipe in a compressed air system. The galvanization in time will break down, and the particulates will flood your lines and accessories.

I am guessing that galvanization is a dipping process, and as such, it might be difficult to coat just the inside of a pipe. I also expect that if there is a need, it can be done. I just don't have any idea where.

Cheers,

Bill

Don't quite know what this has to do with compressed air.

I guess, if you could mask the exterior from the galvanizing process (it's a dip process, isn't it) then you could do just the inside.
