947265 compressor

I have a husky air compressor model number 947265, 20 gallon 110 compressor. It is designed to be stood up on its feet, I would like to more permanently mount and operate it on its side. My question is, "Will this create any issues mechanically and functionally, will it work?"

What about the crud and water in the tank screwing up the tank check valve?

Na, use the compressor in the orientation it is designed for. Save yourself some aggro.

Well, the compressor will work OK since it's oil-less.

The question is, how will you drain the tank water condensation?

If there is an existing threaded hole that will be near the low part of the tank, you can use that.

Or, if you can mount it so that you can rotate it, that would work, but probably defeat your purpose.
