Can I get the valve that is on top of the tank?

The valve has 2 ports on it. One for the hose and one for the pressure gauge, fill valve, release valve, 3/4" pipe thread that goes into the tank.

I'm not entirely sure what the valve is you are talking about, but if it's the brass fitting assembly, here's a suggestion.

In Lock Haven (where our Uncle John Kruk hailed from) find yourself an industrial supply house for plumbing. Odds are good that they either have the fitting in stock or can get it for you.

Good if you can take the one you've got with you. Failing that, a few pictures on a digital camera will help, I'm sure.

If they don't have the exact one, ask them what fittings you need to assemble one yourself. As long as all parts are in the right order, if the new one is longer won't make a difference to the air.
