Builds up to 40 psi and no more

I'm not sure what it is called but it is blowing air out a valve that is not supost to until it reaches 125psi. This is on a gas powered air compressor.

Not building pressure is a common complaint. Please read and follow the links on this page, why compressor won't build pressure.
