Brute 10 gallon won't kick back on

I can turn it on with an empty tank and it will fill right up to 120 psi. If I'm using the air compressor frequently after it fills, it will drop down and kick back on and refill the tank. But if I let it sit for 15 minutes or so after its filled, when the psi drops to the cut in limit it will not kick back on and refill.

It acts like it wants to start and refill, but then it kicks out the reset button and I end up having to drain the tank. Once the tank is drained, it will fill up again.

Replaced pressure switch, still have same problem. Could it be electrical? Its a brute 10 gallon it says 120volt on it and its plugged into a wall outlet.

Derek, I hope you didn't throw the old switch away, as I suspect there is nothing wrong with it.

What isn't working, I think, is the compressor UNLOADER VALVE.

If that doesn't work, post here as a comment and tell me what happened.
