Broke off PRV when reinstalling

Recently received a new Harbor Freight 21 gallon compressor and thought it wise to add Teflon tape to all of the threaded fittings. Was close to completion with the PRV when the thought came across my mind as the tightening was getting difficult to "just a little bit...SNAP!..more." I broke off the PRV with the threaded end in the compressor with a generous amount of Teflon tape around the threads. There isn't much to grab hold of with pliers to try to remove, just wondering if there is anything can do to remove the threaded end of the PRV that is still inside the compressor. The air compressor is brand new and I could return it, but would like to try to fix this issue first as the nearest store is over an hour away. Any help is greatly appreciated, and yes, I feel really stupidly sheepish for not listening to my dad and leaving it alone with the stock thread lock being enough.

Google "bolt extractor" for lots of tips on how to do this.

Good luck.
