Break in procedure for new Ingersoll Rand 2340N5-V

Bought new Ingersoll Rand 2340N5-V two stage compressor. The manual does not describe any break in procedure and contacting IR hasn't gotten any answers. After filling lubricant should I run with open drain for certain time with no pressure load or not? Then should I drain oil after certain time and replace? I am using IR All Season Select synthetic oil....Just want to get started out the right way,,,,,,,

Break in procedure

I think this covers your question from page 8 of the manual:

NOTE
New or rebuilt compressor pumps will discharge
higher than normal amounts of oil until the piston
rings are seated (approximately 100 operating
hours).

So, a break in wouldn't be practical, anyway.
