Blows breakers...

Can a pressure switch cause a breaker to blow? I think capacitors are good. Motor with compressor turn freely by hand.

Rich, yes, if the pressure switch has a short, when the switch trips, it pulls too many amps and pops the breaker.

Tell me about the scenario when the breaker pops. Compressor just starting, breaker pops on cut out...add details as a comment if you would.
