Belt for Speedaire Air Compressor

I have a 30 gallon, horizontal, electric Speedaire compressor. The belt broke. Who is a good source for these? All I know is that the designation on the belt is BT-48.

You have a few options. If I were you I'd check with Speedaire first. See contact info by clicking the link to the Speedaire page from the home page or Nav bar.

Another one is go search for fan belt or industrial belt distributors where you live (I suspect there will be quite a few) and take the belt with you to one of these shops for matching.

You could try taking the belt to an automotive parts store as well. They might help.

I did check with Grainger and they were of no help. "Sorry, we don't carry that belt". Turned out needing a 50" microV belt (500J6). Got two from thebeltplace.com. Good people.
