Badger TC910 Aspire Pro won't produce air?

by Iain

I came downstairs to do some airbrushing today and flipped on the compressor to nothing. It makes a small electrical buzzing like it's recieving current still but air is not filling the tank. The moisture trap is always drained after use and it was working fine yesterday. Any clue?

Sorry. I just spotted the capacitor...they call it a condenser, same thing.

Can you tell if the motor is running?

It doesn't appear to have capacitors, so I'm thinking maybe the piston ring is cracked.

Yes, it's buzzing like it is recivieing electrical current but not actually doing anything beyond that.

Iain, it's buzzing, but the compressor is not running???

That being the case, it's an electrical issue, and under the troubleshooting section on this site see the page about humming air compressors. The same advice should apply.
