Badger 180-12 cut out specifications

Hi Bill,

My Badger 180-12 no longer has an auto-shutoff. When I turn it on, the compressor runs continuously until I turn it off. It will still push air through my airbrushed but I have some safety concerns with letting it run continuously.

I have had this compressor for a number of years but I can't say that I have worked it too hard. It goes for long periods of time unused.

Possibly unrelated, I disassembled the regulator/water trap last night and say that there was some corrosion in the fitting that goes between the compressor and regulator.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Dave

Badger 180-12 not shutting off
by: Bill

This compressor shuts off at a certain pressure.

If the pressure never gets to that pressure setting, the compressor will run until it overheats and shuts down.
