ALUP 7.5hp wont start

I got an alup 7,5 hp compressor that wont start.A friend of mine says there should be 1 hidden switch but im not able to find it. Any answers?

For those not in the know (and I wasn't until I looked it up) the ALUP is an industrial rotary screw air compressor manufactured in Germany.

In terms of the "hidden switch" I do know that some air compressors have a thermal overload switch that is located on the motor, and it may be hidden by the compressor shrouding.

Specifically, if you have done the diagnostics referred to on why air compressors won't start, and still cannot find a reason, then maybe it's time to contact: info@alup.com .
