Air Compressor trips breaker when reaching high limit

Have a Husky 26 Gll. upright with a Condor 21 Pressure switch. It continues to run past cut-off limit (135 pds.) and then it trips the breaker. Do I need a new pressure switch? Where do I buy it. Thanks Ed.
Bill agrees...Hi Edward.
Yup, sure sounds like your pressure switch is pooched, to me anyway.
First, remove the cover (pull the plug and drain the tank) and take a photo of how the wires connect up to this one. Ignore this advice if you are an electrician. I never seem to remember myself, so I always take photos of my compressor wiring when I'm doing something now. :-)
Second, many compressor manufacturers use the same source for pressure switches, so either take your switch or the photo of it to your local compressor store and see if they have pressure switches available.
If not, ask them where they get their compressors fixed under warranty, go there, and I'm sure they will be able to help.
Cheers,
Bill
