Air compressor stops but then it will start again

Air compressor after it reaches to maximum it stop but then it will start again.

Ill already replace the pressure switch but it seems that there is no problem with it. The compressor after it reaches to maximum it stop but then start again so something trigger it to start again but the pressure seems to be ok.

To stop it from start/stop condition, I start the other compressor no.2 manually for a second them the air compressor no.1 stop from start/stop condition.

false restarts?

And then, too, given that starting the second compressor stops the restart suggests that perhaps the cut-in pressure of the first is right at cut-out of the same compressor.

What compressors are these, anyway?

Are you certain the gauges are working?

If so, be certain the pipe to the pressure switch doesn't have a check valve, and that there is not leak in said pipe and fittings.

Start/stop

The pressure at gauges at the tank stay and nothing changes or flicker when it reaches maximum setting but still it remain to start and stop then start again then stop and so on.already replace with new pressure switch.

Also no air leak found.

Compressor restarts on its own
by: Bill

Elect, watch the tank gauge after the compressor reaches cut out and stops.

If the tank pressure stays solid at the cut out pressure setting, and the compressor restarts anyway, then it has to be the pressure switch that is not working properly.

If the pressure in the tank slowly drops to the point where the compressor starts at cut in, then it is likely you have a leaking tank check valve.
