air compressor not shutting off

My air compressor doesn't shut off, and only stops at 60 psi but it should max out on 130 psi. it ran for over an hour and only got to 60 psi. then a few hours later i checked it again and it was down to 20 psi. what gives? oil problem? leak?

Hi Mike... yup, I think you've got a leak either in the intake valve for the gaskets inside the compressor head.

Have a look at my compressor won't build pressure pages to see what I'm talking about.
