Air compressor motor shuts down and won't re-start

Charge Pro portable 5 gallon Air compressor.

2 tubes coming off head.

One is alum line and goes to tank.

The other one appears to be plastic and is broken flush with head. It "chugs" while running. It will run enough to fill air tank. It automatically shuts off when tank fills.

Problem is that no re-start.

Manually cut off/on won't work. Motor locks up, you can hear it hum then eventually breaker trips.

Won't re-start till 2-3 hours go by.

Please help! Motor Part# Mo-904CE...says GE on it.

Charge Air Pro Motor shuts down

The line that is missing is normally connected to the unloader valve.

Since it is no longer connected, your unloader valve cannot do it's job.

Please see the page on this site about what the unloader valve is, and what it does. That will explain the Charge Air Pro compressor problem rather than me typing it all again.
