I have a craftsman air compressor model# 919-152920; pressure switch is obsolete. where to get a replacement? I was told by someone from craftsman that I will have to buy a new compressor.

From the information I was able to find on line, I can see no reason why you cannot easily find a replacement pressure switch that is not OEM, but will work fine on your Craftsman air compressor.

Do you recall the normal cut in and cut out of your switch?

With that info, and knowing that your present pressure switch powers a 120 volt motor circuit, and that it has an external unloader valve interface, you can visit a compressor store and likely find one off the shelf.

Take your old one along for comparison's sake.

Or, see the pressure switches listed under the links "Air Compressors & Compressed Air Equipment
Available Here!" at the bottom of the side column on every page. Follow the links to pressure switches and you'll find quite an assortment.
