AIr Compressor Does Not Auto Shut off!?!?

I have already replaced the switch assembly, and still nothing it still keeps running and running... eventually when i see the pressur getting extremley high i shut the unit off. Then when i go to turn it on it wont because the air pressur is too high. Then i bleed some air out and i can turn it back on any ideas?

Jordan, either your new pressure switch has failed too, or it has been wired incorrectly so that power flows to the motor and bypasses the switch.

What you shut it off, if you aren't toggling the pressure switch manually, then the pressure switch, in turn, is not toggling the unloader valve, which is why it won't restart until you bleed pressure.

You have a switch issue of some kind, I think.
