Idle adjustment wrong?

Is this a home brew or did you just replace the engine?

Compressor shuts down
by: Bill

The throttle unloader on a gasoline powered compressor is supposed to reduce the motor RPMs when the tank is full.

When the pressure switch senses the tank pressure has fallen to cut in, the throttle valve is supposed to increase motor RPM to pump air.

It sounds as though your throttle / unloader is maladjusted, and is closed the fuel completely on unload, rather than just allowing the RPMs to drop to idle.
